it's saturday again.. yeah.. so lucky of me tt i wont be going back to sch on tis wonderful saturday.. i've got this feeling that i will be in sch nxt saturday cos the deadline is drawing near and we've yet to complete our assignment.. so sad..

anyway, guess wat.. i bought two pair of coloured contact lens yesterday.. Accuve was having a promotion at the SMU carnival and siti and the salesman tempted me to get myself one pair of coloured lens and since there's a promotion of buy one get one free, i got two pair @ $30. i wasted $$ again.. oh gosh.. i'm just trying to see if coloured lens suit me, if it looks nice, i may consider switching to coloured lens.. hahahaha.. see how vain i am.. whahahahaha..

i actually though debbie wore coloured lens cos her eyes wont black.. they are brown in colour man.. but she insisted that she has perfect eyesight.. dun really believe her at first cos she's always suanning and lying to me.. till now i'm still not fully convinced that she had natural brown eyes.. it's too unbelievable..

talking abt debbie, she's the first person that i know from my LTB class. still remembering the first day that i went for LTB, i didn't know anyone at all.. i stepped into the class and they are arranging the tables and chairs to form into grps. debbie was siting alone in one of the grps and i went near her and asked if i could sit beside her (cos there's empty chairs next to her)and it's just this simple act that we eventually became grp mates for LTB proj. we even became classmate for 3 out of my 4 modules.. she is one happy go lucky gal..she loves to eat too, just like me.. hahahaha think we both have some telepathy between us.. i knew wat she wanted to say and she understands wat i'm trying to express.. we are so so so so fated to know each other.. hahaha.. shall talk abt her more nxt time..

yeah, i'm done with one presentation.. had my FA group presentation today. overall wasn't tt bad but my performance was bad.. hahaha.. my voice sucks cos i haven fully recovered and i'm so nervous tt i missed out lots of things tt i'm supposed to say.. oh gosh.. anyway, it's over.. left with two more presentations and no more presentation for this term.. yes..

oh yah, i muz really thanks my grp members for making today's presentation successful.. thanks siti, susmit, boy, junchang and justin..well done man..

I'm on MC today.. so sad.. i wasn't feeling well since friday (refer to my previous post) and the sickness went on and off, on and off.. think the weather was at fault, raining at one moment and it's the scorching sun the other moment.. ok, anyway i went to see the doctor last nite.. thought i'll be ok today.. but i'm wrong.. the medicine makes me feel so drowsy and sleepy so i'm staying at home today.. but i've still got work to be done.. so happy tt i finished my ppt and script for my comms presentation but i've not memorised them.. oh gosh.. have to do them tml.. gonna hav rehearsal on fri.. i'm gonna go downstairs now to grab a bite b4 i start reading up stats.. oh god.. i dun understand a single thing abt stats.. can somebody help me... help.. and there's the LTB pair assignment to do.. oh my god..

oh gosh, it's sunday AGAIN.. spent my beautiful sunday rotting at Shun's house.. hahaha.. i'm supposed to do my projs and assignments but i'm not in any mood to do so.. i feel so bad.. (*guilty guilty*) anyway, we watched dvd the whole afternoon.. watched "Mean Girls" and "The Princess's Diary".. though i watched mean girls b4 but i liked the story plot so much tt i dun mind watching it again.. it's quite unlike me lor, cos i usually dun watched shows/movie tt i had watched b4... i will be bored.. hee hee~~ oh yah, we ate burgers for lunch today, i think was prepared by his mum, it's so so delicious.. there's a layer of garlic spread in the burger, followed by a cake of fish fillet topped with a layer of cheese.. Oh man, it's so nice.. i've never thought his mum can prepared such yummy food.. hahahaha..

anyway, tt all.. gonna do my research and projects... i hate "Leadership and Teambuilding", the module is so dry.. theories, theories and more theories..

halo.. friday again.. i'm feeling so uncomfortable now because i'm having a sore throat. It may seem mild to u all but it's a "big" thing for me as i hate the feeling of being sick. It makes me feel tired and lazy. The last thing that i want to do now is to do homework/project. hiaz.. but i can't. I have to rush for my homework and project. Deadline is drawing near and i've to struggle in order to get it done.. I DUN WANNA DO ANYTHING NOW.. I WAN TO HAVE A BREAK.. but i can't.. so sad.. I'm having proj discussion tml afternoon.. OMG, such a wonderful saturday but i have to spend my precious sat afternoon in sch.. hiaz.. Its already work, work and more work during weekdays, can't i have a break during weekend? no, i can't.. there's too many things to be done.. projs and assignments are waiting for me... hiaz... hiaz.. hiaz... i must really overcome this period of time.. Holidays, i'm awaiting for u.. cya in 1 mths time...

hihi.. it's sunday night AGAIN.. it's time that we have to part.. sob sob** Though it's been 4++ months since Shun went NS but the feeling is still strong whenever we hav to bid adieu to each other on every sunday night... Time flies when we are happy. It has been a wonderful weekend for me, despite the fact that we didn't get to do what we planned. hiaz.. In life, it's always like that, we usually can't move according to our plan/schedule. Therefore, its important for us to be flexible. Change our plan when unexpected situations occurs. Anyway, we didn't go marine bay, didn't fly kite, neither did we eat stemboat buffet. BUT, we ate an international buffet.. I'm not too sure if it's an international buffet but there's certainly lots lots lots of food. We had our dinner at Sakura on saturday. Its not the Thai restaurant 'Sakura', it's a buffet restaurant and it's part of the Suki Groups of restaurants. This means that Suki Sushi, Yuki Yaki,(the one at Cineleisure where you can have DIY ice cream, Teppanyaki and Steamboat buffet) Suki Ramen and Sakura are sisiters. All of them belong to the Suki Groups of restaurant.

Sakura serves lots lots of variety of food.
There's sushi (assorted),
sashimi,
teppanyaki food like scallops, beef, mutton, chicken and salmon (you picked your food and the chef cook it for you),
drinks (fruit punch, honeydew, guava juice, tea, water and the usual few gassy drinks),
soup (cream of chicken and sharks fin soup),
raw seafood like oyster, scallop, mussel etc (we didn't really liked raw seafood so i wasn't sure the type of raw seafood that they offer),
BBQ food like satay (chicken,beef), hotdogs, otah otah and BBQ mushrooms,
Japanese dishes like tempura, smaller version of tako yaki, eel, gyoza, boiled eggs, fried brinjal, fried tapioca
Chinese tim sum like lor mai kai, siew mai, pau, har kau etc
Cooked food like boiled prawns, cooked mussels, kai lan veggie, fried chicken wing, fried chicken meat, fried crab claws, fried ee mee, mashed potato, fried tofu, buttered rice etc
Fruits like papaya, watermelon, kiwi, honeydew, orange
Ice cream with assorted flavours
Jelly - assorted flavours, Gui Lin gao
Cakes - chocolate cake, red bean cake, coffee cake, mango cake..
Claypot - there's one corner whereby u can select 12 items from a given range of food, the chef will cooked them in a claypot and serve it to you

ok, there's all i can think of.. Are you drooling now??? Don't drool, just pick up your wallet and make your way down to Sakura restaurant. There's one at downtown east, one in tampines SAFRA and one at Toa payoh (beside K-box).. Eerhm.. i'm like helping them to give free advertising.. hahaha... oh yah, one more point to add, i personally find that the ambience wasn't tt good (at least for the Toa Payoh branch) heehee~~ but it's up to you to decide whether u wanna give ur stomach a treat or ur sense of sight a treat..

Shun is on his way back.. i'm so sian.. been waiting for him since morning.. hav been waiting with anticipation but till now i feel sian.. hiaz.. thought the stupid government declared 5 days work week for the public sector.. y wasn't he included??? all army officer sucks.. can't they plan things better.. anyway they can't do much on a sat morning too, so y not let them booked out on fri nite??? dear officer, use ur brain can?? schedule ur plan properly lah.. u can gav them free time every nite but u hav to hold them back on sat morning.. OMG.. can't u plan something better..i'm furious, fustrated, angry... STUPID GOVERNMENT, STUPID ARMY, STUPID OFFICER..

hiyo.. it's friday nite again.. i'm bored.. bored.. bored.. can't sleep now cos i slept a whole 3 hrs in the afternoon.. i'm becoming more and more like a pig.. OMG.. while writing this blog, i'm searching for some silly games online.. and bcos my desktop do not have the JAVA program, lots of games i can't play.. so sad.. it's all my brother's fault.. he's using my laptop to do his proj.. so i've no choice but to use this stupid desktop to seek for fun games.. hiaz.. feel like getting the tablet pc.. it's cool,unlike my ibm.. ibm looked very "orh biang" lor.. should hav got the fujitsu tablet pc.. nvr mind.. i'll get it next year.. hahahahaha..

yeah, tml is saturday.. my favourite day of the week cos i get to see Shun.. hee hee~~ so happy.. but he onli book out at 1.30p.m. tml.. hiaz.. wasted one wonderful morning.. most probably we'll be going to marina bay to hav steamboat with his friends.. maybe we will go there slightly earlier to fly kite.. yes.. fly kite.. he bought me a kite when he was in Tioman.. i hav been longing to fly kite for so many years.. we often dun hav the time an chance.. hope we'll do that tml..

However, it's wasn't the first bouquet of flowers tt i've received..erhm.. can i consider it as my first bouquet of "fresh" flowers?? hahaha.. cos somebody gave me a bouquet of handmade flowers b4.. it's not just one rose k.. its a bouquet of roses.. so sweet of him.. but i'm not going to you who he is.. hahaha.. anyway, he and I are still good friends now... ok, Shun gave the flowers to me on my first concert with SP band.. the IBM concert in 2001.. i'm so happi then cos shun wasn't the romantic type.. he never NEVER NEVER got me any flowers on Valentines Day.. yes, u din see wrongly.. he NEVER got me flower b4 in any of our 4 Valentines Day.. i'm so sad.. hahaha.. anyway, i'm used to it.. and stop giving me red roses.. kinda sick of it.. maybe u can try giving me tulips, sunflower or blue/white roses nxt time?? i wan something new...

hiaz.. so boring now.. tml having grammar quiz man.. surely cannot make it.. i wasn't good in grammar lor.. lucky it's onli 5 or 10%.. anyway, Shun's doing his guard duty today.. so there wont be any call from him tonight..

tml is wednesday.. a long day for me man.. onli finished class at 5.. OMG.. but it wed is also the mid of the week tt means its gonna be saturday again.. hee hee~~

Oh yah, watched the channel 8 show just now.. the lame lame slimming program.. but the whole story is so touching.. there's this girl who wanted to slim down because she feels that she is a "giant" when she stands beside her boyfriend.. then they hav to endure the pain of not seeing each other for 2 months when the girl undergoes the slimming session. then they are so loving.. in spite of the fact that the girl is "slightly" bigger sized than the guy, they still love each other very much.. then the host arrange for them to meet after 2 mths.. oh man, u should see their expression when they saw each other.. they hugged each other and the guy even proposed to that girl.. so touching man..

ok, enough of all those emotional entries.. i shall now blog abt my wonderful saturday.. Shun onli bookout at 1.p.m. that day.. i bought his Macdonald's lunch and waited for him at pasir ris interchange.. waited till 1.35p.m. before i saw him.. his dad then fetch us home.. reached his house abt 2+++.. waited for him to prepare and off we go to the army market at lavender.. he bought his army stuffs and we ate at the food center below the army market. We ate the prawns noodles.. it's very special... there's pork ribs, prawns and "tou pok" in the prawn noodles.. and the chilli is super spicy but overall the prawn noodles is bagus.. nice nice.. then we met Johnny, Wei Cheng, Tingji and Anthony there.. they too were there to get their army stuffs.. hiaz.. i dun understand y army guys hav to get their own army stuffs.. though they are trivial items but it costs a "bomb" when u sum up the costs of all the trivial items..think the govenment should do something to it..

We went to a restaurant near Boon Keng mrt station.. It's Shun's grandma bday celebration that day.. their family had a dinner celebration for her at that restaurant.. woo.. its my first time attending his family gathering lor.. i mean first time with his distant relatives.. i onli met a few of his immediate relatives b4 mah..we were a little late.. hahaha.. but we are not the latest.. wow, they had 5 tables for the celebration.. but onli 2 1/2 tables are for immediate relatives like his grandma, his mum, dad, aunts, uncles and cousins.. then the rest are his distant relatives.. all old people.. even Shun dun noe who they are and how we should address them.. i'm a bit "extra" there lah.. just eat lor.. lucky there's his sister and his little cousin to accompany me.. hahaha.. cos they are the few ppl that i know of.. hiaz.. and his "biao2 mei4" is so cute that she wanted to sit beside me.. hahaha.. then we sat at a table that is for Shun's generation.. all his cousins sat in that table.. so the table belonged to the young generation of the family.. then there's his "biao2 ge1" and his girlfriend, "biao2 jie3" and her husband, his two "biao2 mei4", his "biao2 di4" who is the same age as us and his sis.. the ten of us sat in one table.. then we had a sumptuous dinner with cold dish, shark fins, sea cucumber,steamed fish, veggie with abalone, some herb soup, noodles and yam paste.. of course we had the bday cake.. a large Mango cake from prima Deli.. but it wasn't to my liking.. dun really like mango.. i prefer chocolate or better still ice cream cake.. (hint* hint* nxt time buy chocolate/ice cream cake for me ah..) then they had phototaking session.. then home sweet home..

His "biao2 jie3" and husband drove us home.. then his "biao2 jie3" husband talked to Shun abt the sispec trainings.. he was from the sispec too.. and now he's one of the regulars in NS..(he signed on to Army..) he said the trainngs will be tough and his wife echoched that it's tougher to be the girlfriend of NS man.. hahaha.. cos she herself went through all these b4.. she and her husband were poly classmates and they tied their marriage knot last year.. at the tender age of 24 (at least it's young to me..imagine getting maried at the age of 24.. it's so impossible lor..) oh gosh, its so early ah.. so envy of them... now at the age of 25, they had their own house(though its not big.. its a 4 room HDB flat..)a second hand car (which looked brand new)and a blissful family of their own.. how can they achieve all these at the age of 25???? how i wish we can too.. i wish.. i wish.. hahaha.. anyway, they mentioned that we may need to struggle for the nxt 9 weeks cos there may be unexpected situations/events and we may not get to see each other that often.. i'm prepared for all these.. u hav to work hard and sacrifice a little in order to get ur desired outcome.. hee hee~~

I'm feeling so emotional now.. sob sob.. Shun was on his way to Pasir Ris interchange now.. i miss him.. miss him badly.. he called me when he's ready to leave his house.. i wanted to tell him i miss him but i din.. i knew he misses me too ut if i told him i miss him just b4 he heads back to tekong, he will feel terribly hurt too.. hiaz..

This weekend was quite a different wan.. This is his first bookout after he went sispec.. he dun really like there.. his platoon mates were all quite unmotivated and unwilling there.. most of them feel sian there and dun really looked forward to their 10 weeks stay there.. he too, was affected by them.. he felt bored there.. din really enjoyed wat he learnt..

His 10 weeks stay will be a hard one for both him and me.. he had to undego vigorous trainings and may not be able to book out on sat (or he can onli book out on sat evening..) hiaz.. if that's the case, i may not get to see him on weekends.. sad.. sad.. army is indeed a challenge for any couple.. i know we can do it.. and i believe i will do it.. hav trust in me and we will work hard together to achieve our desired future..

[[Holiday..]]

Today was the first day of the term break.. but i dun feel the holiday mood.. went for my stats test this morning..its horrendous.. think i will get very low marks.. cos of all the probability qns... i hate probability.. stupid man.. anyway i'm not going to care abt it for the time being.. i hav other things to do...

After stats we went to food haven for lunch.. and my friend and i saw Chen Li Ping and her husband, Chen Tai Ming... yah, they are eating in our smu food haven..
then we went over to the old folks home for our ltb proj... after which we proceeded to debbie's house.. i loved her house man... and frm her bedroom balcony we saw her neighboring houses.. OMG.. her neighbours had a 5 storey bungalow.. and there's a lift beside the staircase.. we saw that lor.. can u imagine having lift in ur house.. cool man.. i simply loved the idea of having a lift in my house.. hahaha

And i reached home at 8.. OMG.. its later than my usual timing.. i came home earlier when i'm having my sch term man..then did some work and chatted with Shun for a while.. he's in sispec now.. which is in Tekong.. hav to undergo another 10 weeks of training b4 he finish his sispec course.. and he said he wanna stay in tekong after that to train the recruits.. OMG man.. i can foresee that he wont be celebrating my 21st bday with me.. think he would be stuck in that island then.. i'm so sad..

oh yah, i had my fa test on sat.. should be ok.. i went shopping with Shun @ orchard after tt.. hee hee~~ i bought a pink pepperplus skirt.. i simply loves pepperplus stuffs man.. the onli thing i dun like abt them is the colours that they offered.. simply too dull ba..

and i wanna complain... y is there no network in Tekong for Starhub????? and the reception was poor for M1... hiaz.. i think sispec is too far away from mainland.. hiaz..
